Weighted grade points (P/Q/G) may be awarded for only one course in each of the four core curricular areas (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  Grade Point Average (GPA) is determined by dividing the total grade points by the number of semester courses.  Effective May 23, 1997, any course taken outside of the regular school day for original credit will not be included in the calculation of grade point averages.
