What is Skyward? Web based student management system used by all of SBISD. There is parent, student, teacher, and administration access. Each user has a unique ID. A parent and student can see grades, receive emails, and review graduation requirements or credits already received or in progress.
Skyward is a communication tool that rest on the accuracy of the information provided by parents/guardians. Therefore, it is imperative that all information in the system be correct including email addresses, phone numbers, and home address. This includes student email addresses. It is preferred that a student use their SBISD issued email address because all emails will go through Skyward using the SBISD email address.
All communication from SHS will come through Skyward using the information provided by the parent/guardian in Skyward. How do I log into Skyward? Go to the SHS Main Page. Login using your SBISD user name and password developed in the library. Parents, you may contact your students counselor for information.
Parents and Students: you can use Skyward to see grades, 4 year plans (when available per SBISD), scheduling, messages from your counselor/teacher, and so much more. You can also set alerts for grades either daily or when a grade/class reaches a certain point. This way grades are no surprise and you can stay on top of what is needed to graduate.
How do I see my 4 year plan in Skyward? The ability to see a 4 year plan is contingent upon when SBISD opens this feature for parent/student viewing. This can only be done under the STUDENTS user name and password on a DESKTOP/LAPTOP only not using the App on a phone. The plan is under the ONLINE FORMS tab. Right now, the electives only are seen on some students plans. Rest assured, they are showing on your counselor's side and this is a part of what he/she uses when they do your credit checks along with your transcript.
